Lagos- Nigeria (PANA) -- Three persons died early Wednesday when armed robbers opened fire on a luxury passenger bus in Nigeria's commercial capital of Lagos, the police said.
The dead include the driver, his conductor and a passenger.
The incident occurred along the Oshodi-Apapa expressway, one of the three major thoroughfares in the commercial city, in the early hours of the day, when buses travelling all-night from the eastern and northern parts of the country usually arrive in Lagos.
Attacks on luxury passenger buses have increased in recent times, claiming lives and property.
