Ten terrorists 'neutralised' in Burkina Faso's Sahel

Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - The Burkinabe army on Saturday "neutralised" a dozen terrorists in the commune of Pobe-Mengao, in the Soum province, in the Sahel.

According to the Burkina news agency (AIB), before fleeing, the assailants set fire to some shops in the Pobe-Mengao market and damaged the pylon of a mobile phone company.

"In addition to the deaths recorded, the operation caused several injuries among the attackers," said a military officer.

On Friday, the Burkinabe army announced that it had neutralised several terrorists in Mansila, in the Sahel.
