Technical hitch forces Egypt Air flight to land

Kano- Nigeria (PANA) -- An Egypt Air plane carrying more than 100 passengers from Cairo to Abidjan in Cote d'Ivoire, was forced to land at the Aminu Kano International Airport in Nigeria's northern city of Kano, Tuesday due to a "technical hitch," aviation sources said.
No casualty was reported and the passengers, mostly Egyptians, India and Pakistanis, were evacuated and kept at the State-owned Douala Hotel.
The sources said the airline was making arrangements to bring another aircraft to ferry the passengers to their destination.
