Sudan: FM condemns killing of Nigerian peacekeeper

Khartoum, Sudan (PANA) - Sudan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday condemned the killing of a Nigerian soldier with the UN-AU peace keeping Mission in Darfur (UNAMID), and the carjacking of a UNAMID vehicle.

In a statement issued here, the Ministry extended its condolences to the bereaved family and to the people and government of Nigeria.

It said the Ministry stressed that the government of Sudan would spare no efforts in following and apprehending the culprits with a view to bringing them to justice.
