South African Airways resumes flights to US

Cape Town- South Africa (PANA) -- South African Airways Thursday lifted its two-day suspension of flights to and from the US following Tuesday's terror attacks in New York and Washington D.
C.
"We are happy to announce that the suspension of flights to the US is lifted," SAA spokesman Victor Nosi said.
He said the resumption of services followed a decision by the Federal Aviation Administration to re-open all airports in the US.
"We would like to thank all our customers, their families and friends for their co-operation during the past two days," Nosi said, adding that all flights to New York and Atlanta would depart as scheduled.
He advised passengers to reconfirm their flights.
