South Africa: South African talk show host to interview Obama

Cape Town, South Africa (PANA) – Popular South African television presenter Trevor Noah will interview President Barack Obama on Monday.

The Daily Show host who is based in New York, will interview the outgoing President at the White House. It will be Obama’s first interview on a late-night talk show since the November presidential election.

Noah whose mother was black and father white, was born in Soweto in 1984. He found global fame when he succeeded Jon Stewart as host of The Daily Show in September 2015. Since then, he has interviewed several heavyweights, including former President Bill Clinton.
