Somalia: 6 men killed, 20 wounded in clashes in Somalia

Mogadishu, Somalia (PANA) – At least six persons have been killed and more than 20 injured in clashes between security forces in the Galguduud region and tribal militia who mounted roadblocks in Addado suburb in Somalia over tax levies, according to local media reports on Monday.

Quoting eyewitnesses, the reports said both parties were armed to the teeth, raising fears by the population that another round of fighting could be in offing.

Shabab movement combatants on Sunday attacked the city of Afgooye, situated 30 kms South of Mogadishu, according to security sources which did not give further details.
