Seven die in presumed rebel attack

Bujumbura- Burundi (PANA) -- At least seven people were killed and two others kidnapped Tuesday in an attack Burundi government officials blamed on rebels.
The attack on Muramvya province targeted a café and, in their retreat, the attackers reportedly took along two young women, besides several cows, sheep and goats.
Tuesday's attack came only 24 hours after government and rebel forces agreed to a week-long cease-fire to allow health agents carry out a national anti-polio vaccination campaign.
It also came as government officials and representatives of the rebel National Liberation Front (FNL) were meeting for the first time in South Africa to discuss possibilities for a cease- fire.
