Senegalese President in Libya

Tripoli- Libya (PANA) -- Senegalese President Abdoulaye Wade, fresh from an Asian visit to China and Iran, arrived here Wednesday and was due to discuss with the Libyan leader, Colonel Moammar Kadhafi, the agenda of the 1-2 July AU summit in Banjul, official sources said in Tripoli.
The Senegalese leader is a member of the presidential Commission set up by the African Union on the Libyan proposals for the creation of pan-African ministries towards the formation of the United States of Africa.
The Libyan proposals include the creation, within the AU, of ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence, Foreign Trade, Transports and Communications.
Diplomatic sources here said, the Libyan leader, who will be assuming the rotating presidency of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), is also expected to discuss the activities of regional grouping with President Wade, whose country also belongs to the Community.
General Mustapha Mohamed Kharroubi, a member of the historic command of the Libyan revolution, welcomed the Senegalese leader on his arrival at the Tripoli international airport.
