Senegal beat Sudan 1-0 in football friendly

Dakar, Senegal (PANA) - Senegal beat Sudan 1- 0 Thursday in Dakar in a friendly both teams
used to prepare for the 21 Jan-12 Feb. 2011 Africa Cup of Nations, to be co-hosted by Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

The winning goal was scored in the 23rd minute by Demba Ba, currently the second top scorer in the English league with 15 goals.

Senegal is due to play a final friendly match against Kenya on Sunday in Dakar, before heading to the Nations Cup.

Senegal will play alongside co-host Equatorial Guinea, Zambia and Libya while Sudan is grouped with Cote d'Ivoire, Burkina Faso and Angola in the first round of the Nations Cup.
