Senegal: BADEA gets new Director General

Dakar, Senegal (PANA) - The Board of Governors of the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa (BADEA) has named Dr. Sidi Ould Tah, the Mauritanian Minister of Economic Affairs and Development, as the bank's new Director General for a three-year term of office.

This was disclosed at the end of the bank's 40th Annual Meeting held in Kuwait 7-8 April within the framework of the Joint-Annual Meetings of Arab Financial Institutions.

The board also took a number of other decisions including the appointment of an external auditor for 2015 and approval of the transfer of funds to the bank's reserve.
