SA officials showcase 2010 World Cup readiness

Cape Town- South Africa (PANA) -- South Africa flaunted its readiness to host the 2010 FIFA World cup at the Euro 2008 Championship in Austria, as government off i cials and and those of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) addressed concerns a b out the country's 2010 World Cup preparations.
South African Tourism Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Moeketsi Mosola, the LOC CEO Danny Jordaan, the 2010 World cup ambassador Lucas Radebe, Deputy Finance Minis t er Jabu Moleketi are among the South African representatives who had gone to Vie n na to showcase their country's readiness for the soccer extravaganza.
In his presentation, Mosola said the tourism sector was ready for the influx of visitors - "This is an industry that is capable, that has good infrastructure an d that is exceedingly excited about 2010.
" He said his department was working closely with the global travel network to kee p tourists realistically informed about crime.
