Rwandans from the Diaspora to hold convention

Kigali- Rwanda (PANA) -- About 2,000 Rwandans living outside the country are planning to hold an unprecedented convention towards the end of the year, official sources reported on Friday.
The get together is the imagination of the Rwandan community in South Africa under the banner of the Rwanda Southern Africa Alliance (RSAA).
According to the organisers, invitations are being extended around the globe.
During the convention discussions will be held with government officials on how Rwandans in the Diaspora can contribute to the country's social and economic development.
Participants will also hold meetings with officials from the banking sector and other representatives of the private sector in a bid to identify possible areas of assistance.
Foreign dignitaries from countries like South Africa, Mali, Eritrea have also been invited to the convention.
