Rwandan president to attend baptism for gorillas

Kigali- Rwanda (PANA) -- President Paul Kagame will on Sunday witness the baptism of 80 gorillas living in the Volcano national park in northern Rwanda.
Announcing the event in Kigali Monday, the director general of the Rwandan Tourism and National Parks Office (ORTPN), Rosette Rugamba explained that the gorillas would be divided into eight families each living in a specific zone.
The first group of 37 gorillas will be called Susa, the name of a Rwandan river.
The others will be called Amahoro A, Amahoro B, Group 13, Group Sabyinyo, Beets me and Shinda.
   The 160,000-hectare Volcano National Park, which was created in 1925, is located along the border with Uganda.
