Rwanda: RwandAir slashes domestic flight fare by 30%

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) - RwandAir Express airline, which has just acquired a new Bombardier Q400 Next Gen jet, on Monday announced a 30 per cent reduction in the fare for its sole domestic flight connecting the capital, Kigali, to Kamembe in the South-West.

The Rwandan flag carrier said in a statement that round-trip tickets from Kigali to Kamembe will now cost US$132 (tax exclusive), down from US$185.

The Rwandan airline currently flies to 17 destinations, including Nairobi (Kenya), Entebbe (Uganda), Mombasa (Kenya), Bujumbura (Burundi), Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Johannesburg (South Africa), Lusaka (Zambia), Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Lagos (Nigeria), Accra (Ghana), Juba (South Sudan), Libreville (Gabon) and Brazzaville (Congo).
