Rwanda: RwandAir Express opens Entebbe-Nairobi route

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) - Rwanda's flag carrier RwandAir Express has launched a new route from Entebbe (Uganda) to Kenya's capital city, Nairobi, the airline said in a statement made available to PANA here Monday.

The new daily flight which was launched over the weekend will use a new generation Boeing 737-700 aircraft, and flights in both directions will be via Kigali, the Rwandan capital.

RwandAir Express currently serves several African cities, including Johannesburg (South Africa), Entebbe (Uganda), Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Mwanza (Tanzania),  Dar-es-Salaam, (Tanzania), Bujumbura (Burundi), Nairobi (Kenya), Brazzaville (Congo), Libreville (Gabon), Douala (Cameroon), Lagos (Nigeria), Accra (Ghana) and Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire).

The airline also flies to Dubai thrice weekly via Mombasa (Kenya).

RwandAir plans to open a new route between Kigali and Lusaka (Zambia) 29 March.
