Rwanda: Brussels Airlines extends services to Rwanda

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) - Brussels Airlines has announced it will begin operating a six-time weekly flights to Rwanda from Belgium effective from April 2016,  PANA reports Tuesday from Kigali.

With existing services to Kigali, Rwanda, Brussels Airlines now adds another flight to its expanding network,” the airline said in a statement.

The statement indicated that Brussels Airlines will add a ninth Airbus A330 to its fleet, saying that this long-range aircraft will allow Brussels Airlines to continue to focus on African growth with extra flights to Kigali (Rwanda) and Entebbe (Uganda), bringing the flight frequency to 6 and 4 flights a week respectively.

"Brussels Airlines is also looking at two new African routes via Europe, including Lagos (Nigeria) and Libreville (Gabon)," the statement quoted Brussels Airlines Chief Commercial Officer, Lars Redelig, as saying.
