Nigeria: Citizens of 3 West African states repatriated for 'nefarious activities'

Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - The Nigerian government has repatriated 82 citizens of three West African states over alleged ''nefarious activities'' that are capable of undermining the country’s security.

The foreigners, who were repatriated from the northern city of Jos, include ‎Chadians, Nigerien and Senegalese, the local media reported Friday, quoting Coordinator of the National Information Centre (NIC) Mike Omeri.

“We wish to inform the media of the recent repatriation from Jos of a number of nationals of Chadian, Nigerien and Senegalese origins for nefarious activities that could undermine the security of Nigeria,” Omeri was quoted as saying.
