Morocco hosts congress on nutrition in Africa

Rabat- Morocco (PANA) -- The first congress of the Federation of African Nutrition Societies (FANUS) will be held from 7 to 9 May in Ouarzazate, south-eastern Morocco, according to a statement published Thursday in Rabat by the Moroccan Nutrition Society.
The meeting, on 'Nutritionist health and human development in Africa', will be attended by several resource persons, including African scientists.
The agenda includes symposia and workshops, the statement added.
Participants will also discuss the status of nutrition and public health in Africa, as well as poverty reduction mechanisms.
