More than 500 civilians killed by armed groups in Burkina Faso's Sahel region this year
Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso (PANA) - The latest attack on an artisanal gold mine near the village of Solhan in the northeastern province of Yagha in Burkina Faso on 5 June has brought to more than 500 the number of civilians killed since the beginning of 2021 in Africa's Sahel region, Human Rights Watch reported Wednesday on its website
