More than 30 Libyan airport officials in training in Tunisia on airport management

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - A total of 32 Libyan airport employees have been sent to Tunisia for a seven-day training programme in Airport Management Policies and Airport Building Facilities, the Libyan Airport Authority announced on Friday.

In a statement, the authority said that the programme is being implemented by the Tunisian Academy of Civil Aviation Safety and Security Training.

It said that the training deals with the field of airport management policies and includes the procedures for granting airport licences and the airport master plan.

It also involves the development of strategies for managing airport activities and revenues from external aviation activities.

The training in airport building facilities is in line with the methodology of the International Civil Aviation Organisation, in addition to the design of the airside airport building.
