Minister opens new Yatsani Radio station

Lusaka- Zambia (PANA) -- The Zambian government said Monday it embarked on a deliberate policy of liberalising the country's airwaves because it recognised the important role played by community radio stations in the development of the nation.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Vernon Mwaanga said that the proliferation of radio stations in the country was as a sound but deliberate policy of the government.
Mwaanga was speaking when he commissioned the Yatsani Radio Station at Bauleni Catholic Church in Lusaka.
