Mills leaves for AU summit

Accra- Ghana (PANA) -- Ghana's President John Evans Atta Mills left Accra on Satu rday for Kampala to attend the 15th Ordinary Session of the Assembly of Heads o f State and Government of the African Union (AU), which would be held in the Ugan d an capital between 25 and 27 July.
The summit will be on the theme: â?Maternal, Infant and Child Health and Develo pment in Africa.
â? It will also focus on the adoption of the African Maritime Transport Charter and appoint members to the Africa Commission on Human And Peoplesâ? Rights (AfCHPR) for which Ghana has a candidate.
President Mills will also present a paper on Ghana in relation to the theme of t he summit.
