Mbeki condoles India over Mumbai blasts

Johannesburg- South Africa (PANA) -- South African President Thabo Mbeki Tuesday expressed outrage at the bomb explosions that killed more than 100 people in Mumbai, India.
Media reports said the string of blasts on the Indian rail network Tuesday also injured more than 400 people.
In a message of support to his Indian counterpart Abdul Kalam, Mbeki said: "during this difficult moment we join the people of India in their hour of bereavement while reaching out to those who lost their loved ones and wishing those wounded a speedy recovery.
" The South African leader expressed the hope that "the Indian authorities will ensure that those responsible will face the consequences of their own actions.
" "Accordingly, Your Excellency, please accept the heartfelt condolences of the government and people of South Africa," Mbeki added in a statement released by the Department of Foreign Affairs.
