Mauritius to facilitate marriage between citizens and foreigners living with

HIV/AIDS Port-Louis- Mauritius (PANA) -- The government of Mauritius is to introduce a new bill to reduce discrimination against foreigners living with HIV/AIDS, official sources in Port-Louis told PANA on Friday.
The sources said the bill, the HIV/AIDS (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill, would amend the Civil Status Act and the Immigration Act in an effort to facilitate marriage between Mauritians and foreign nationals who have HIV or AIDS.
The law, as it stands now, does not approve marriage between Mauritians and foreigners carrying the HIV virus.
