Mauritian premier for Ouagadougou Francophonie summit

Port Louis- Mauritius (PANA) -- Mauritian Prime Minister Paul Berenger will attend the 26-27 summit of the Francophonie in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, official sources disclosed here Monday.
Berenger will leading a high-powered delegation, including the minister of foreign affairs and international trade, Jayen Cuttaree and of women, child development and family welfare, Arianne Navarre-Marie.
An official at Government Hall (Prime Minister's Office) revealed that in his address, Berenger will plead the case of small island states and encourage Francophone leaders to attend the United Nations Conference on Small Island States next January in Mauritius.
Meanwhile, Berenger is scheduled to pay an official visit to Seychelles from 8-11 December, official sources said.
