Mauritanian opposition leader moved to Aioun prison

Nouakchott- Mauritania (PANA) -- The detained president of the Mauritanian opposition Popular Front Mohamed Lemine Ch'Bih Ould Cheikh Malainine has been transferred to Aioun prison 800 km southeast of Nouakchott the capital.
Hearing of the "criminal conspiracy" case against Ould Cheikh Malainine, who was detained on 9 April on charges, has been adjourned until 27 May.
A group of lawyers led by Mahfoudh Ould Battah, president of the national Mauritanian Bar association is defending the opposition politician.
