Mauritania to build child nutrition centres

Nouakchott- Mauritania (PANA) -- The Office of the Mauritanian Food Security Commissioner (CSA) is to establish 123 child community nutrition centres in the Tagant, Brakna and Trarza regions, official sources hinted here Monday.
The project, estimated at some 450,000 US dollars, concerns over 6,000 children, who will get supplies of cereals, sugar, milk, vegetable oil and salt, plus a stipend.
They will be divided into groups of 50, and a local NGO would be contracted to manage the project.
