Mauritania News Agency gets new managing director

Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) – Yarba Ould Sghair, journalist by profession, has been appointed managing director of the state-owned Mauritania News Agency (AMI), a statement issued at the close of Thursday's weekly cabinet meeting said.

He replaces Cheikhna Ould Nenni.

Ould Sghair was previously the director of the online press at the Mauritanian Communication ministry.
