Mauritania: Ministers arrive in Nouakchott for 27th Arab League Summit

Nouakchott, Mauritania (PANA) – Several Arab Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Economy and Trade  arrived in Nouakchott between Thursday and Friday to attend the 27th Arab League Summit, due for 25-27 July in the Mauritanian capital, official sources told PANA on here.

Among the arrivals are the Algerian Minister of Maghreb, African and Arab affairs, Abdel Kader M’Sahel, the Emirate Minister of Economy, Said Abdel Aziz Al Mansouri, and the Tunisian Minister of Trade, Mouhcine Hacen.

PANA quoted the Algerian Minister as saying on arrival here that the summit will offer participants the opportunity to open dialogue and reach a resolution on the numerous problems confronting the Arab community.

The minister said "This historic summit will discuss the situation in Palestine and adopt measures likely to strengthen the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

"It will also examine the Libyan crisis, the situation in the Middle East, in addition to all the security threats to the Arab world."
