Lufthansa suspends flights to Abidjan

Abidjan- Cote d'Ivoire (PANA) -- The German airline company, Lufthansa would suspend its two weekly flights between Frankfurt and Abidjan beginning 1 July, aviation sources announced Wednesday in Abidjan without giving reasons.
Lufthansa's flight suspension follows that of British Airways last week when it suspended the two weekly Abidjan-London flights "due to regular financial losses".
The German airline, whose commercial delegation in Abidjan refused to comment on the decision will, however, maintain its commercial service commonly known as "Akwaba", meaning "welcome" in Akan language.
