Tripoli- Libya (PANA) -- Fighting "terror by terror" was no solution to terrorism, the Libyan daily Al-Zahf Al-Akdhar has observed.
The paper, which is an organ of Libya's revolutionary committees, said in its Friday edition that the US "will never be able to become the policeman over waters and the sky".
"The security of the United States depends on security in the world and the security of the American people is directly linked to the security of populations worldwide.
This is a reality that Washington must realise without any other alternative," the paper observers.
Meantime, it denounces America's foreign policy in the world, saying the world and its people firmly reject such policy that has an intention to "Americanise" the whole of mankind.
It says the US campaign has failed in Afghanistan, where American soldiers continue to die though US officials continuously "contradict the reality".
The paper cites the latest appearance of Al Qaïda leader, Osama bin Laden, in a videotape issued last week on the Qatari satellite channel -- Al-Jazira -- as proof of the failure of the US military campaign in Afghanistan.
It believes that the US, which "banned flights over New York and Washington, over its air, naval and nuclear bases and its strategic plants, diverted flights from their usual corridors to move them away from its research centres, will never achieve in eradicating terror by terror".
