Libya: Flights resume at Tripoli airport

Tripoli, Libya (PANA) - Flights to and from Libya's Tripoli International Airport, which were suspended earlier Friday after two rockets hit and damaged a runway, have resumed, the Libyan news agency reported.

The agency, quoting Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications officials, said flights were taking off and landing from other runways while the damaged one is being repaired.

It is not yet known who fired the rockets.

Militia groups have held Libya by the jugular, perpetrating massive violence and crimes, since the 2011 uprising that ended the long tenure of the old regime
