Last minute goal gives Spain 1-0 lead over Slovenia at half

Gwangju- South Korea (PANA) -- Spanish superstar Gonzalez Raul struck in the 44th minute to put Spain ahead of Slovenia in their Sunday World Cup match played in Gwangju, South Korea.
The equally matched teams played a well-balanced game, with the Spanish having a slight edge over their fellow Europeans from the Baltic states.
Spain and Slovenia are in the South Korea-based Group B, whose other members are South Africa and Paraguay.
The latter two teams played a 2-2 draw in an earlier game played in Busan.
The Spain-Slovenia match is now in the second half.
