Kenya urges Arab League to open mission in Nairobi

Tripoli- Libya (PANA) -- Kenya has invited the League of Arab States to set up a mission in Nairobi, a League official has said.
Cairo-based "Al-Ahram" daily Monday quoted Samir Hosni, Director of the Africa Department at the Arab League to have said that the League's Secretary General Amr Moussa had been invited by the Nairobi government to conclude an agreement on the creation of an Arab League diplomatic representation in the Kenyan capital.
Hosni said Moussa received the invitation during a meet last week with the Kenyan Foreign Minister Musyoka Kalonzo.
He said Moussa's planned visit to Kenya could be part of an African tour that would also include Uganda and Tanzania, aimed at consolidating Arab-African relations.
