Kagame leaves for AU summit in Banjul

Kigali- Rwanda (PANA) -- Rwandan President Paul Kagame left Kigali Friday for Banjul to attend the African Union (AU) 1-2 July summit in the Gambian capital.
The summit will address continental security, political and socio-economic economic and security issues.
Rwanda has so far contributed some three battalions of troops to the AU peace-keeping force in Sudan's troubled western region of Darfur.
