Kagame for Mandela's burial in South Africa

Kigali, Rwanda (PANA) - Rwandan president Paul Kagame is among a group of African leaders who will attend Sunday's state funeral of the former South African president Nelson Mandela,
official sources revealed here Wednesday.

The State funeral will take place in Pretoria, before the body will be interred in his ancestral village of Qunu (East).

The last time that the Rwandan leader met with the anti-apartheid icon and father of modern South Africa was in July 2013.

Since last Tuesday, flags have been flying at half mast on all public building across Rwanda  as the country pays glowing tribute to Nelson Mandela, with Rwandan Parliamentarians gathering at the South African embassy in Kigali to honour the anti-apartheid hero.
