Kadhafi meets Gbagbo, Soro in Abidjan

Abidjan- Côte d'Ivoire (PANA) -- Visiting Libyan leader Moammar Kadhafi met separately here Thursday with Ivorian President Laurent Gbagbo and Prime Minister Guillaume Soro.
Official sources said Gbagbo commended Khadafi for his peace efforts in Africa in general, and Côte d'Ivoire in particular.
He also stressed the need for all Africans to support the Libyan leader's quest to end conflicts and boost unity and development in Africa.
Soro spoke in the same vein, stressing the importance of peace in the continent.
Kadhafi also received a delegation of the Arab communities in Côte d'Ivoire.
His Ivorian visit is part of a West African tour, which started in Mali, as part of efforts to mobilise regional leaders for the African union government project, which is top on the agenda of the African Union (AU) July summit in Accra, Ghana.
