Kadhafi, Tandja in telephone consultations over Accra Summit

Tripoli- Libya (PANA) -- Colonel Moammar Kadhafi, acting chairman of the Community of Sahel Saharan States (CEN-SAD), Saturday held a telephone conversation with Niger's president Mamadou Tandja, whose country is a CEN-SAD member, an official Libyan source reported.
The source said during the talks, President Tandja praised Kadhafi's role in consolidating peace and fostering stability in the CEN-SAD member countries.
The same source said the telephone contact provided the opportunity for consultation on and co-ordination of the ordinary summit of the Africa Union (AU), due to begin Sunday in the Ghanaian capital, Accra, which will focus on the creation of an African Union government.
