Gunmen kill 2 Nigerian Air Force men. 2 others in Kano

Lagos, Nigeria (PANA) - Gunmen on Sunday shot dead two officers of the Nigerian Air Force (NAF), and two others in separate incidents in the northern city of Kano, the local media reported.

The report quoted an eyewitness as saying the first attack was carried out on a NAF official vehicle at Na’ibawa by gunmen riding on a motorcycle, who shot and killed the two officers in the car.

The second attack occurred at the Hotoro Walawai area, when gunmen fired on two men standing in front of a house.

No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but they bore the hallmarks of the violent Islamic sect Boko Haram, which has been active in the country's second largest city in recent times.
