Lomé, Togo (PANA) – The Togolese head of State, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, has given his minister of security 48 hours within which to fish out those who, Saturday, broke into the house of the leader of the opposition National Alliance for Change (ANC), Jean-Pierre Fabre, according to a statement here from the presidency.
According to the ANC, some policemen and gendarmerie attacked Fabre's residence, using tear gas. They allegedly beat up occupants of the house and abducted some of them.
