Ghana lose 0-1 to South Africa in World Cup qualifier

Accra, Ghana (PANA) - Ghana's Black Stars lost 0-1 to South Africa's Bafana Bafana in their second game of the FIFA World Cup qualifier (2022) Group G match played Monday at the FNB Stadium monitored by PANA here.

South Africa has taken the top spot in Group G of the Africa World Cup qualifiers with 4 points closely followed by Ghana on 3 points.

South Africa scored the lone goal in the closing minutes of the game through Bongokuhle Hlongwane.

Ghana drops to second position in Group G after two matches having picked three points from a possible six.

South Africa, which has won its first match, now has four points from the first two matches.
