Ghana: FIFA General Secretary, Samoura, visits Ghana FA Secretariat

Accra, Ghana (PANA) - FIFA General Secretary, Fatma Samba Diouf Samoura, on Friday paid an unofficial visit to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Secretariat in Accra.

According to local media reports, Samoura interacted with the GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi, other key officials and staff of the GFA during her brief visit to the Association’s headquarters in Accra.

The FIFA General Secretary, who made a transit from an official assignment, was taken through the various offices and departments of the GFA Secretariat.

Samoura was appointed FIFA General Secretary on 13 May, 2016, after the election of Mr. Gianni Infantino as President of the world football governing body.

She previously worked with the United Nations as Resident/Humanitarian Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in Nigeria.
