Germany props anti-AIDS fight in CEMAC countries

Yaounde- Cameroon (PANA) -- German ambassador to Cameroon Volker Seitz and the Executive Secretary of the Economic Community of Central African States (CEMAC), Jean Nkuete, have signed a co-operation agreement worth some 3.
3 billion CFA francs to combat HIV/AIDS in the region.
(about 540 CFA francs=1USD).
Ambassador Seitz said at the signing ceremony in Yaounde Tuesday this first regional project would benefit Cameroon, Central African Republic and Chad.
Nkuete thanked the Germany government for its efforts to improve the health of citizens of CEMAC member States.
