Francophonie agency props film industry in the South

Paris- France (PANA) -- The Intergovernmental Agency of the Francophonie has announced the disbursement of 5,620,000 French Francs to support the production of 25 new films and other audio- visual productions in developing member countries.
The agency, which is the main operator of programmes of the 55-member International Organisation of the Francophonie (French speaking countries), said in a statement that a panel retained the 25 projects from a short list of 64.
