France encourages inter-Congolese dialogue

Paris- France (PANA) -- French authorities welcomed the inter-Congolese dialogue that opened Monday in Gaborone, Botswana as a significant step towards national reconciliation and implementation of the Lusaka agreement.
French Foreign ministry spokesman François Rivasseau urged participants to respect engagements spelt out in the Lusaka accords.
Rivasseau reiterated France's political and financial support recently underscored by Foreign minister Hubert Vedrine during a visit to the Great Lakes region.
Paris urged participants to engage in preparations for national dialogue with courage and without second thoughts.
