Five feared dead in communal violence in Nigeria

Lagos- Nigeria (PANA) -- Five people were feared killed and at least 20 injured in communal violence at the weekend between the Ozoro and Okpaile communities in Nigeria's oil-rich Delta state, local press reports said.
Youths of the two communities reportedly clashed over the sharing formula for an unspecified compensation paid to the communities by Shell Petroleum Development Company.
Police Commissioner John Ahmadu said about 20 people have been arrested in connection with the fighting, in which rampaging youths armed with cutlasses and guns burnt several houses.
Ahmadu said those arrested would soon be charged to court.
The fighting is the latest clash in the restive oil-producing region.
