FILO 5th edition kicks off in Ouagadougou

Ouagadougou- Burkina Faso (PANA) -- The fifth International Book Fair of Ouagadougou (FILO) entered its second day Thursday attracting several writers, publishers, students and members of the public at exhibition stalls.
Besides books exhibition, organisers have planned exchanges between editors, writers and book distributors.
On the sidelines of the fair that ends 24 November, several conferences on francophone literature are planned for high schools, colleges and universities in Ouagadougou.
Organisers of the fair include Bernard Dadie (Cote d'Ivoire), Aminata Sow Fall (Senegal), Seydou Badian Kouyate (Mali) and Elikia M'bokolo (Congo).
The 5th FILO is part of events leading to the 5th Francophonie Summit slated for 26-27 November in Ouagadougou.
