Eyadema leaves for Anti-Racism Conference in Durban

Lome- Togo (PANA) -- Togolese President Gnassingbe Eyadema left Lome Thursday morning for Durban, South Africa, for the UN World Conference Against Racism, which opens Friday.
Togo is the Co-ordinator of the African group of national Human Rights Organisations and the immediate past chair of the Organisation of African Unity.
Africa is pushing the issue of reparation for colonialism and slave trade at the Durban Conference against the wish of beneficiaries US and Europe.
