Egyptian president thanks Kadhafi for showing concern

Tripoli- Libya (PANA) -- President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has thanked the Libyan leader Colonel Moammar Kadhafi for showing concern following a bomb blast that killed three people Thursday in Cairo.
According to a Libyan official source, in an exchange of views the same day, Mubarak expressed his profound consideration to Kadhafi for his interest in the security and stability of Egypt.
An American, a French citizen and another person were killed in a huge explosion that also injured 18 other people occurred Thursday evening in downtown Cairo's Ak-Azhar district.
The bomb blast occurred six months after the killing of several Israeli in another explosion within the Taba tourist complex.
According to media reports, Egyptians have unanimously condemned the incident.
However, the Egyptian opposition parties expressed fears that the government could use it as an excuse pretext to renew the state of emergency and delay political reforms.
